Vitex, a Greek coatings producer, has finalised the acquisition of Microfill, a company with over 75 years of expertise in calcium carbonate-based fillers. The deal includes a substantial increase in equity capital, marking a significant milestone in Vitex’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in construction chemicals and diversify its offerings.
Microfill, headquartered in Corinth, Greece, is known for its high-quality raw materials, including calcium carbonate sourced from its proprietary deposit. The company serves over 25 countries and is recognised internationally for its chemical purity and material whiteness. Its production facility has an annual capacity of 130,000 tonnes, positioning it as a key player in the filler materials market.
