This facility in India will enhance our research and development capabilities, thereby allowing us to provide customised solutions for diverse industries. It will foster product applications innovation, application testing and prototyping, ensuring faster response to market needs. With increasing industrialisation & urbanisation, rising awareness of sustainability, and more stringent regulatory requirements on sustainable and safe formulations, the demand for high-performance solutions and preservation solutions is on the rise. Sectors like construction, healthcare and packaging are driving this growth, making India a key market for innovative and sustainable solutions.

Namitesh Roy Choudhury: We have been actively involved in the paints and coatings industry through the Inorganic Pigments (IPG) business unit. With recent projects and successful trials in the lubricant additives and materials protection product area, we are exploring ways to expand our capabilities. Extending pigment demand for high-performance pigments in paints and coatings, integrating such solutions into the IADC’s scope could be a strategic step in the future.
