Brenntag Essentials reorganises operations in Germany
Brenntag Essentials, a subsidiary of Brenntag, has introduced three regional entities in Germany, each with its own operational leadership. The aim is to decentralise the company’s structure.
Brenntag Essentials, a subsidiary of chemical distributor Brenntag, has restructured its operations in Germany. Three so-called Last Mile Service Operations (LMSO) will now be responsible for operational management in the northern, central and southern regions of the country.
These entities will be led by Vincent Petri (North), Kahraman Simsek (Central) and Tim Uhrmeister (South). All three report to the regional management team of the EMEA Central region, which also includes Austria, Switzerland and several Central and Eastern European countries.
Implementation of a global operating model
The reorganisation is part of an internationally rolled-out operating model at Brenntag Essentials. This model establishes decentralised regional units, each responsible for managing sales, procurement, customer service and day-to-day operations.
In Germany, the three General Managers form the management board of Brenntag GmbH together with Susanne Sohn, who continues to serve as CFO.
According to the company, Brenntag Essentials acts as a locally positioned, efficient distribution partner and supplies process chemicals for a broad range of industries and applications.
Leadership team with long-standing industry experience
Vincent Petri is responsible for northern Germany. Originally from the Netherlands, he has many years of experience in sales and chemical distribution.
Kahraman Simsek, who takes over the central region, has held various management roles at Brenntag for more than 20 years. Tim Uhrmeister, who leads the southern region, brings 25 years of industry experience, including positions in Switzerland and India.
