Biesterfeld expands Songwon partnership to distribute stabilisers
Biesterfeld has extended its collaboration with Songwon CS to distribute stabilisers in additional European countries. This move strengthens Biesterfeld’s portfolio of high-performance additives for paints, coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
Biesterfeld, a global distributor of speciality chemical products, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Songwon CS, a manufacturer of speciality chemicals. The extended agreement, effective immediately, will see Biesterfeld distribute Songwon’s antioxidant and light stabiliser product lines, “Songnox CS” and “Songsorb CS,” in several new European markets.
The expanded distribution network now includes the Baltic States, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Romania. Previously, the partnership covered Austria, parts of Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and Türkiye.
Strengthening local presence and customer support
Robert Geffken, Product Manager at Biesterfeld, emphasised the partnership’s value for formulators, noting that Biesterfeld’s market expertise combined with Songwon CS’s comprehensive portfolio ensures tailored solutions for specific applications.
Fabio Giuntoli, Sales Manager Coatings EMEA at Songwon CS, highlighted the strategic importance of the collaboration: “Expanding our partnership with Biesterfeld allows us to reach customers in new regions more effectively. Biesterfeld’s local presence and technical support ensure reliable delivery and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of formulators.”
The move reflects Biesterfeld’s focus on strengthening its position in key growth regions, providing advanced chemical solutions to support the paints and coatings industry with enhanced service life and product quality.
