Univar Solutions has acquired Interpur Chemicals, a distributor of polyurethanes and powder coatings in Europe. The transaction strengthens the chemical distributor‘s performance materials business and broadens its technical and regional coverage across the EMEA region.
Univar Solutions has announced the acquisition of Interpur Chemicals, a distributor of polyurethanes and powder coatings operating in Europe. The transaction adds to the Performance Materials business within Univar Solutions’ Ingredients + Specialties division, extending its technical capabilities and regional presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
According to the company, the acquisition is intended to improve customer access to materials, strengthen supply continuity, and enhance support for formulation and performance requirements in the CASE market.
Interpur Chemicals brings more than 20 years of experience supplying chemical raw materials and technical consultancy for the polyurethane, resins, and powder coatings industries. Eighteen employees will join Univar Solutions through the transaction, supporting continuity for customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
