Wevo establishes subsidiary in India
Wevo, a manufacturer of polyurethane systems, is expanding its international presence by establishing Wevo Chemical India Private Limited in Gurugram near New Delhi. The new site will focus on polyurethane potting compounds for electronic applications.
German manufacturer of polyurethane systems Wevo is extending its activities in the Asian market. By founding Wevo Chemical India Private Limited in Gurugram near New Delhi, the company aims to strengthen its position in India and improve the supply of polyurethane solutions.
A key element of the new site is the material flow between the logistics hub in Singapore and a distribution warehouse in India. This is intended to ensure rapid material availability, stabilise the supply chain and provide products with an extended shelf life.
Focus on polyurethane potting compounds for electronics
Initially, the site will focus on polyurethane potting compounds for electronic applications. These materials are used for electrical encapsulation in automotive, energy technology and white goods. The liquid polyurethanes can be processed via dispensing or screen printing and are suitable for fully or semi-automated production processes, such as potting of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
