Songwon strengthens polymer stabiliser distribution in Southeastern Europe with extended Biesterfeld partnership
Songwon Industrial is expanding its market presence in Southeastern Europe. Since July, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie has been the exclusive distributor for polymer stabilisers in seven countries across the region.
Songwon Industrial, headquartered in Ulsan, South Korea, has expanded its long-standing cooperation with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH to reinforce its position in the polymer stabiliser market in Southeastern Europe. Since 1 July 2025, Biesterfeld has been the exclusive distributor for Songwon’s complete portfolio in Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
The region is considered strategically important for the chemical distribution sector. The expanded cooperation aims to increase product availability, improve customer service and enhance access to high-performance polymer additives.
Expansion into growth markets
“Biesterfeld has been a strong partner to Songwon for many years,” said Albert Dantuma, Leader Sales Polymer Stabilisers at Songwon. Expanding into seven additional countries marks a significant step in strengthening Songwon’s market share in plastic additives.
