IMCD nominates Andreas Igerl as CCO
IMCD has announced the nomination of Andreas Igerl as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and member of the Management Board. With his extensive international experience, Igerl will focus on strengthening supplier relationships, customer-centric strategies, and commercial excellence within the speciality chemicals distribution company.
IMCD has officially announced the nomination of Andreas Igerl as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and member of the Management Board. The nomination, pending approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting on 30 April 2026, marks an important step in the company’s strategy to enhance supplier relationships, focus on customer-centricity, and drive commercial excellence.
Andreas Igerl, a German national born in 1980, has been with IMCD since 2019 and currently serves as Executive Committee member and President of IMCD EMEA and Industrial Business Groups. His professional journey includes leadership roles in Asia-Pacific, China, and Germany, as well as expertise in advanced materials. Holding a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Applied Science for Economy and Management in Munich, Igerl brings a wealth of international experience to his new role.
In his position as CCO, Igerl will continue to oversee IMCD’s EMEA operations and Industrial Business Groups while playing a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s commercial strategies.
