Axalta appoints Dr Delson Trindade as Axalta Fellow
Dr Delson Trindade has been named Axalta Fellow, the highest technical recognition within Axalta’s global technology organisation.
Axalta has elevated Dr Delson Trindade to the position of Axalta Fellow, recognising his long-standing scientific achievements, technical leadership and contributions to the development of coating technologies within the company. The Axalta Fellow title represents the highest honour a scientist or engineer can receive at Axalta.
With nearly 40 years of experience in the coatings industry, Trindade has led key technology programmes, contributed to the advancement of automotive and high-durability coatings, and supported the emerging electromobility sector. He is a co-inventor of several coating processes and has contributed to more than 100 patent filings.
Long-standing expertise in coating technologies
Beyond his technical work, Trindade serves as a mentor and actively contributes to knowledge sharing within the company’s Fellows Forum. He began his career with Axalta in Brazil and has since worked in Germany, Argentina and the United States. Today, he is based at the company’s global headquarters and innovation centre in Philadelphia.
