Beckers appoints Dr Susanne Goldammer as Chief Operations Officer
Beckers Group has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Dr Susanne Goldammer as Chief Operations Officer. Based in Berlin, she will oversee operations with a strong focus on safety, sustainability and efficiency.
Effective 2 June 2025, Beckers Group – a global specialist in coil and industrial coatings – has appointed Dr Susanne Goldammer as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). She will be based at the company’s head office in Berlin and assume responsibility for all core operational functions, including production, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), supply chain, procurement and IT.
With over 25 years of international leadership experience, Dr Goldammer has held senior positions at Alstom, Linde and SCHOTT. Her career spans a wide range of operational and strategic roles across markets such as Russia, China, South Korea and the United States. Most recently, she served as Vice President Rolling Stock Mainline and Spokesperson of the Management Board at Alstom Transportation Germany.
Driving safety and sustainability
In her new role, Dr Goldammer will support Beckers’ ambition to become a role model for safe and sustainable operations worldwide. She will play a key role in delivering the company’s Green Lights Strategy, which aims to “raise the standard of care for our world” by aligning operational excellence with environmental and social responsibility.
