Effective since 1 April 2026, Azelis will distribute Chemetall’s surface treatment technologies for general industrial applications throughout Canada. This extended collaboration builds on the existing relationship between the two companies, leveraging their complementary strengths in innovation, customer service, and market expertise. Azelis’s advanced digital platforms play a significant role in this partnership, offering customers 24/7 access to Chemetall’s high-performance solutions, technical documentation, and safety information. These tools also enable users to place orders and request samples efficiently, ensuring streamlined support for industrial clients.

Focus on regional expertise and market growth
Karlheinz Zander, BASF’s Vice President Surface Treatment North America, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership in capturing emerging opportunities within Canada’s surface treatment market. “Partnering with Azelis represents a strategic initiative that supports our goal of providing customers with industry-leading Chemetall solutions while capturing emerging market opportunities,” Zander stated.

Azelis Canada’s Managing Director, Alex Graham, underscored the company’s commitment to tailored customer support and growth acceleration. “Our demonstrated success in other regions, combined with our technical capabilities, market intelligence, and strong customer connections, creates a solid platform for this new phase in the Americas. Through our responsive and locally focused strategy, we’re dedicated to providing customised support and accelerating growth,” Graham remarked.
