MC-Bauchemie with new subsidiaries in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan
MC-Bauchemie has established new subsidiaries in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan as part of its international growth strategy. The moves reflect the company’s focus on two of Central Asia’s largest and fastest-growing construction chemicals markets.
MC-Bauchemie has founded a new subsidiary in Uzbekistan, with its headquarters based in Tashkent. The company was established in April 2026 and represents the latest step in the group’s ongoing expansion into Central Asia. Maksim Kirin, aged 45, has been appointed Managing Director of MC-Bauchemie Uzbekistan. A local team of technical and commercial specialists is currently being assembled at the Tashkent site.
The company cites Uzbekistan’s population of nearly 40 million and its growing construction sector as key drivers for the move. Investments in residential construction, industrial facilities, transport infrastructure, and urban development are described as fuelling demand for modern construction solutions across the country. Looking ahead, MC-Bauchemie plans to invest in local production capacities and aims to establish a concrete technology competence centre in Tashkent.
Established presence in Kazakhstan
MC-Bauchemie’s expansion into Central Asia began with the founding of MC-Bauchemie Kazakhstan in March 2023. The subsidiary commenced operational activities in the second half of 2023 and has since built up a market presence across the country. The company’s team is located in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan’s two principal economic centres.
Ivan Shulgin, aged 42, serves as Managing Director of MC-Bauchemie Kazakhstan. He has been with the group for more than 20 years and has held various management and business development roles within the organisation. As a next step, MC-Bauchemie plans to invest in local production, with a project for the on-site manufacture of concrete admixtures scheduled to begin in July 2026.
Local production as the next step
With subsidiaries now established in both Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, MC-Bauchemie is continuing its international growth strategy and reinforcing its local presence in what it describes as strategically significant markets. The investments reflect the group’s assessment of Central Asia as an emerging economic region with considerable potential for the construction chemicals sector.
