WEG opens industrial coatings distribution centre in Colombia
Brazilian company WEG has expanded its presence in Latin America by opening a new distribution centre for industrial and anticorrosive coatings in Bogotá, Colombia. The facility aims to meet regional demand and support strategic growth in the market.

Customers in Latin America can now access WEG’s extensive portfolio through the centre, including technical data and sample requests via the Master Catalog of Coatings.
Colombia’s role in WEG’s Latin American strategy
Adilson Demathe, WEG Coatings’ sales director, emphasised the importance of Colombia in the company’s growth strategy. “Colombia has a strong and continuously growing economic activity, making it a key hub for our expansion strategy in Latin America,” Demathe explained. The new distribution centre aims to capitalise on this dynamic market and enhance WEG’s ability to serve regional customers efficiently.
