RPM International restructures leadership – David Dennsteadt appointed Executive Vice President
US-based coatings specialist RPM International has announced a new leadership structure, appointing David Dennsteadt as Executive Vice President. Gregory Michael will take over the newly expanded Performance Coatings Group as part of the company’s strategic reorganisation.
Specialty coatings and sealants manufacturer RPM announced significant management changes effective 2 October 2025. The company’s Board of Directors has elected David Dennsteadt as Executive Vice President. In this role, he will be responsible for all corporate administrative areas, including finance, legal, risk management, human resources, manufacturing and operations.
Dennsteadt has been with RPM since 1995, starting as a technical service engineer at Stonhard and later holding senior roles such as managing director of Stonhard Europe and president of the Performance Coatings Group (PCG). Under his leadership, the PCG consistently achieved record sales and earnings, while advancing a global strategic vision.
Gregory Michael to lead expanded Performance Coatings Group
Following Dennsteadt’s promotion, Gregory Michael has been appointed group president of the expanded Performance Coatings Group. Previously president of Stonhard, Michael drove sales growth, long-term strategic planning and operational excellence, positioning Stonhard as one of RPM’s top-performing businesses.
These leadership moves are part of RPM’s broader organisational restructuring, reducing its four reporting segments to three in order to streamline collaboration and enhance efficiency. CEO Frank Sullivan highlighted both leaders as instrumental to driving growth and innovation within the company.
