The new facility, spanning approximately 135,000 square feet (about 12,500 m²), will serve as Kansai Helios’ North American hub for the production and distribution of industrial powder coatings. With a total investment of USD 20 million (EUR 17 million), this marks the company’s most significant expansion in North America to date. “With this move, we’re quadrupling our production capacity and laying the groundwork for further growth in the U.S.,” says Bastian Krauss, President and Executive Director of the Kansai Helios Group.

By 2030, the company plans to create around 50 new jobs in the Columbus region – including roles in technical, production, and administrative fields. Employee training will be carried out in cooperation with Kansai Helios’ European sites in Germany and Austria. This new facility further is supposed to further strengthen the European Kansai Helios Group’s integration into the global network of parent company Kansai Paint.
