Marcus Jordan appointed new CEO of IMCD
Marcus Jordan has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IMCD N.V. as of 28 April 2025. He succeeds Valerie Diele-Braun, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Jordan has been with IMCD for 26 years and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the Management Board. Throughout his career, he held various leadership positions, including President Americas and Group Development Director, and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2014.
In its announcement, the Supervisory Board expressed its appreciation for Valerie Diele-Braun’s contributions both as a member of the Supervisory Board and of the Management Board, acknowledging the fresh perspectives she brought to the company. The Board also expressed its full support for Marcus Jordan, highlighting his experience in driving commercial and operational excellence as well as his commitment to digital innovation. As part of its ongoing succession planning, the Supervisory Board will review the further composition of the Management Board in the coming months.
