IMCD expands coatings expertise with new technical centres in Dubai
IMCD strengthens its presence in the Middle East with new technical centres in Dubai.
IMCD Group (IMCD), a global distributor and formulator of specialty chemicals, has announced the opening of new technical centres in Dubai. These centres are specifically geared towards the coatings and construction, and food and nutrition business segments, and support customers throughout the Middle East and in Egypt. The new laboratories are equipped with modern research, development and formulation facilities to develop innovative concepts and customised solutions, according to the company.
IMCD has seen strong growth in the region over the past five years, with the number of employees rising from five in 2020 to over 100 in 2025. With offices in Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo, the company aims to consolidate its position as a leading provider of technical expertise and innovative solutions for the industry. The new centres are part of IMCD’s global network of more than 80 technical facilities. They enable close collaboration with customers to address formulation challenges and stay ahead of industry trends.
