Mohsin Habib Chowdhury has taken charge as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh.

Over his 31-year career, Chowdhury has held several positions and made significant contributions to the growth and success of the organisation. Under his leadership, Berger Paints Bangladesh has invested Tk 980 crore (68,7 Mio. EUR) in its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) in Mirsarai, Chattogram. This landmark project reflects his strategic vision and commitment to driving innovation and operational excellence. The factory is scheduled to commence operations in April 2027 and will introduce state of art automation technologies, marking a new era of advanced and highly automated paint manufacturing in Bangladesh. Dr. ASM Obaidullah Mahmud, Chief R&D Officer stated, “Berger’s R&D is the first accredited laboratory in the paint and coatings industry in Bangladesh, marking a significant milestone for the industry. Through our world-class R&D capabilities, we continue to drive innovation and develop cutting-edge solutions that strengthen Berger’s position in both domestic and international markets.
