Bodo Möller Chemie strengthens Spanish market presence by integrating Quitec customer base
Bodo Möller Chemie Group has acquired customer contacts from long-standing Henkel partner Quitec. The move aims to expand the company’s position in surface treatment and deepen cooperation with Henkel.
Bodo Möller Chemie Group continues its expansion strategy by taking over customer contacts from Quitec, a company based in San Sebastián, Spain. Quitec specialises in the distribution of chemical speciality products for industrial applications. Its portfolio includes industrial cleaners and paint pretreatment products, notably Henkel’s Bonderite brand. These are mainly used in painting and degreasing plants, by metal finishers and in the manufacturing industry.
By integrating these existing customer relationships, Bodo Möller Chemie aims to strengthen its market presence in surface treatment and enhance its partnership with Henkel. “Quitec has established itself as a reliable partner in the market over many years and maintains close customer relationships. We want not only to continue these, but to deepen them – with technical expertise and tailored solutions,” said Lionel Breuilly, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Spain.
Part of a long-term growth strategy
The acquisition forms part of Bodo Möller Chemie Group’s long-term expansion strategy. The company aims to meet the growing demand for process-oriented and sustainable solutions in surface treatment through local presence, technical know-how and strong partnerships.
