Kris Adidarma is the CEO of Propan Raya, Indonesia’s top paint manufacturer. He has led the company since January 2010. As CEO of Stahl Holding since June 2021, Maarten Heijbroek, brings nearly 20 years of executive experience. Uta Holzenkamp, CEO, BASF, Germany

Uta Holzenkamp has taken over the management of BASF’s Coatings division with around 11,000 employees at more than 70 sites with effect from 1 January 2022. After studying organic chemistry at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Ohio State University, USA, she completed her doctorate at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 1996.

In 1997, Holzenkamp began working at BASF in the pharmaceutical research department. Following further positions in Germany and abroad, she became Senior Vice President of the global Fuel and Lubricant Solutions business unit, which is part of BASF’s Performance Chemicals division, in April 2018.

Daniel Murad has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Daniel started their career as a GM and Director at Unocal in 1978, where they served until 1987. Daniel then joined Rohm and Haas as the Director of Coatings from 1988 to 1996. In 1996, they became the Owner of The ChemQuest Group, Inc. and later served as the President and CEO from 2000 onwards. Additionally, Murad has held various positions in different organizations, including being a Board Member and Finance Committee Chairman at Polymera, Inc. from 2011 to 2015, a Member of the Board of Directors at Tournament Players Club, PGA from 2013 to 2015, and an Advisory Board Member at Edge Adhesives, Inc. from 2010 to 2013.

Daniel Murad has a BA degree in Chemistry from Wabash College, which they obtained between 1975 and 1979. Daniel also holds an MBA from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Additionally, they have received some education from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.

Previously she served as the Finance Director for various businesses across Dow. She is known for her ability to navigate and influence across the organization, help organize and drive improvements, with a track record of delivering results. She enjoys working with teams to distill complex challenges, prioritize solutions, and execute integrated strategies to achieve extraordinary goals.
She is passionate about developing and mentoring personnel. She participated on the Finance Gender Diversity Steering team and has served as the implementation and site lead for the WIN (Women’s Innovation Network) Philadelphia/Collegeville chapters for the past ten years. She recently received a WIN Ambassador award in recognition of her diversity efforts across the organization.
Joanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from LaSalle University.

Ersin Kayalar

As the Chair and CEO of Kayalar Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., one of Europe’s top furniture paint and varnish producers, Ersin Kenan Kayalar is responsible for the overall strategic management and leadership of the company. Kayalar has played an active part in the last 30 years of Kayalar Kimya, which has made a difference in the industry throughout its almost half-a-century-long history. Having assumed various roles, including manufacturing modernization and R&D and sales management, Kayalar successfully led the company’s journey toward becoming a leading organization in Turkey and worldwide and a global player exporting to almost 55 countries today.
After graduating from Richmond American University London Department of Business, Kayalar served his internship at Rohm and Haas. Having assumed the roles of General Manager and Board Member at Kayalar Kimya between 1998 and 2010, he has maintained his effective management mentality as the Chair and CEO of the company since 2010. He has experience in forming partnerships with international companies, as well as establishing factories on an international level.
With his experience going beyond the chemical industry, Kayalar founded Canicas Tekstil A.Ş. and served as the company’s Chair for 10 years. In line with the significance he attaches to sustainability and the environment, he has invested in nature and developed an olive grove, considering future generations.
Kayalar is the Vice Chair of The Association of Paint Industry (BOSAD) and Board Member of The Economic Development Foundation (İKV), while also functioning as a Treasurer Member and Committee President on the boards of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO) and Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (İKMİB).
As he firmly believes in the significance of education, Kayalar actively supports various education programs and participates in social responsibility projects.
