The 2026 World Paint and Coatings Week (WPCW) is underway, running from 23 to 27 March. Organised by the World Coatings Council (WCC), the event celebrates the critical contributions of paints and coatings to sustainability, innovation, and economic growth under the theme “Coatings Touch Everything to Power Our World.”

Each day of the WPCW focuses on a specific theme to highlight the diverse applications and impact of coatings. From protecting essential industries like medical equipment and transportation (Day 1) to preserving infrastructure against corrosion (Day 2), the programme showcases how coatings drive resilience and functionality.

Sustainability and innovation in focus

Later in the week, the role of coatings in powering sustainability (Day 4) and driving innovation (Day 5) will take centre stage. Activities will also highlight industry-led initiatives such as PaintCare, which promotes responsible paint recycling.

The WPCW continues to demonstrate how coatings contribute to a sustainable, innovative, and economically robust future. Industry professionals and stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the week’s activities.
