Krahn Chemie expands Technical Service Centre in Bottrop
By expanding its Technical Service Centre in Bottrop, Krahn Chemie strengthens hands-on training and sustainable solutions. The extended 1,400 m² premises now combine state-of-the-art laboratories with modern training facilities for customers and partners.
Krahn Chemie has expanded its Technical Service Centre in Bottrop, increasing the space to a total of 1,400 m². The site now combines laboratory services with practical training, creating stronger links between theory and application.
“With the expansion of our Technical Service Centre in Bottrop, we are taking another step towards future viability,” said Martin John, CEO of Krahn Chemie. The company reports growing demand for customised solutions, which it aims to meet through new service offerings.
Practical training and laboratory expertise
In addition to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, the site now features fully equipped training rooms. Customers and partners can develop and optimise formulations on site while taking part in joint training sessions. The first training courses and workshops with manufacturing partners are already scheduled.
The investment also reflects Krahn Chemie’s commitment to sustainability. By combining laboratory expertise with a portfolio of bio-based and recycled products, the company aims to advance the development of more environmentally friendly solutions.
European laboratory network for the coatings industry
Currently, eight employees are working at the Bottrop site. Krahn Chemie also operates laboratories in Poznań (Poland), Lainate and Berbenno (Italy) and Gothenburg (Sweden). Across Europe, the company supports partners in the coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, plastics, personal care and cleaning agents sectors with a wide range of laboratory and sustainability services.
