Bio-based coatings

Bio-based coatings are the next step towards an even more sustainable coatings industry. The components otherwise based on fossil resources are replaced by bio-based carbon from renewable plant sources as much as possible. Some classic applications are already to a large extent bio-based, such as coatings based on alkyd resins.
