Supporting the pursuit of bio-based paints without compromises
Join experts from Dow Coating Materials on 22 June 2023 at 3 pm CET to learn how next-generation bio-based binders can support the pursuit of more sustainable interior wall paints without compromising on cost or performance. Discover how Dow PRIMAL™ RN-171 Binder, with more than 35% bio-based carbon content, offers performance comparable to premium acrylic binders while remaining cost-competitive. This next-generation bio-based binder can support the formulation of attractive low-odour interior wall paints with excellent scrub and stain resistance while boasting a lower carbon footprint.
Dr Tamara Dikić, Senior TS&D Scientist for Dow Coating Materials in EMEAI will provide an overview of this next-generation bio-based binder, including significant improvements in stability and optical properties compared to first-generation bio-based binders. The session will feature an evaluation of PRIMAL™ RN-171 Binder performance compared to premium market references, alongside a discussion of the launch and formulation toolbox development processes.
