Dr. Alexander Madl is a scientist, explorer, and co-founder of a Business Intelligence Consulting Start-up. Through his 20 years career in leading R&D functions he became an expert on industrial polymerisation technology and innovation. His interests range from Digitalisation and AI to Sustainability – but at the core his research is how to lead through the transformations in life, as individual and in systems. He is also active as a speaker at conferences, as an author of publications, and as a lecturer.Alexander is married and lives in his adopted home Berlin. In his spare time he enjoys analogue photography.

His areas of expertise are powder incorporation in liquids, mixing, dispersing, emulsifying. He has experience with several thousand different powder types in all fields of industry. He is responsible for worldwide operating key accounts.

Detlef Gysau, Omya International AG, has been engaged in the development of hydro-fillers for the automotive industry at Akzo Coatings in Stuttgart, after his apprenticeship of a paint laboratory assistant (1985-88). During his studies he joined the industrial research centre of Rohm and Haas, Philadelphia and the R+D lab for photo initiators at Ciba-Geigy, Basel. 1996 he acquired his engineer degree in the fields of paints, lacquers and plastics (M.Eng.) at the University of Applied Science in Stuttgart. Today, he is employed at Omya International and led for 14 year the Applied Technology Services for Paints, Coatings & Adhesives (ATS-PCA) with global responsibility for development and technical service. In 2010 Detlef Gysau finished his Executive MBA in General Management at the University of St. Gallen and advanced to his new function as Marketing Strategist of the Segment PCA. Since July 2020 he is working at the swiss company LafargeHolcim as "Head of Product Development Construction Fillers".Anders Østergard
