Selecting a biocide or a combination of biocides require in depth comprehension of technical, regulatory and also commercial drivers. The objective of this tutorial is to give guidance on the process how to choose an anti-microbial solution that fulfills all of these criteria.

Johannes Köhler has held several positions in the chemical industry in marketing and sales. Within his roles he was advising paint manufacturers on technical, regulatory and commercial aspects and had built a thorough know-how. Insights into in-can and dry-film preservation were gained by serving the paint industrie for more than 10 years. His current role is leading the marketing for paints and coatings of Lonza in EIMEA since 2018. In this role he offers state of the art microbial management and linking market needs with the continuous development of biocide portfolio of Lonza.
