Bodo Möller Chemie distributes medical products from Henkel Adhesives
The Bodo Möller Chemie group, provider of specialty chemicals and complete solutions for the industry, has deepened its partnership with Henkel even more.
Since early November 2019, the Henkel Adhesives medical products are now also part of the German portfolio of Bodo Möller Chemie. The emphasis of this sales and distribution partnership for the bonding needs in medical applications lies on instant adhesives, UV curing adhesives, epoxy resin, hybrid and silicon adhesives as well as on adhesive systems for the manufacturing of medical products. As Henkel partner, Bodo Möller Chemie is already present in packaging adhesives and functional surface technologies.
Biocompatible products in the medical field
Henkel tests all products in the medical field according to the strict requirements of the ISO 10993 biocompatibility standard. The biocompatible products are used worldwide – by manufacturers of adhesive tapes, bandages and dressings, in tubes, catheters and needles or in the most varied medical technology devices, from the housing component to the medical imaging system. Unique is the polymer technology for drug dispensing with the help of medical patches.

Formulating Adhesives and Sealants
This book teaches adhesive and sealant formulation in two steps. Each section first describes the application and chemical basis of the type of adhesive or sealant concerned. This is followed by formulation advice and - if possible - an analysis of existing recipes. This analysis includes a calculation of the important characteristic values of the formulations. All calculations based on recipes and formulations are worked through step by step and should therefore be intelligible to beginners, too.
