300 exhibitors and the bilingual congress

This year, pioneering products and the latest technologies will be showcased by more than 300 represented companies. In addition, the bilingual congress at the WOW Hotel and Convention Center will once again be the forum for great minds in coatings science and industry.
"The paints and raw materials are manufactured using the highest technologies. We invite visitors to be part of paintistanbul 2012 and meet all the important partners in the industry,” say paintistanbul 2012 Event Co-Presidents Ahmet Yiğitbaşı and Hakan Fidan.

A concentrated coatings marketplace

In 2012, more than 300 represented companies − among them national and international key players – will exhibit the latest developments for the production of coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals, and adhesives in an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. No comparable exhibition in the Mediterranean area offers such a wide-ranging and concentrated presentation of products and systems in this field.

paintistanbul 2012 is the place in Turkey where global suppliers and production specialists in the paint and coatings industry will come together. The last event attracted over 10,000 trade visitors to Istanbul. The visitors were primarily from Turkey (87 percent), but also from the Turkic countries, the Middle East, the Mediterranean region, Central and Western Europe, the U.S., China, and other regions around the world.

International congress: Preeminent speakers invited

The paintistanbul Congress 2012 gives visiting experts from all over the world the opportunity to exchange views at the highest levels and get updates on the latest coatings technologies. The international congress, held in both Turkish and English, spans a broad spectrum, from the newest technical innovations to scientific and applied studies.
Once again the organizers have succeeded in attracting outstanding speakers to present at the congress. For example, Dirk Mestach from Nuplex Resins will report on compliance issues in the coatings industry, and George R. Pilcher from the ChemQuest Group will present the "Transformational Thinking Concept” as a tool for innovation in coatings. Another highlight: Two paint courses will be held by world-class experts in their fields, and course participants will be awarded a certificate.

Partners of paintistanbul are Vincentz Network and NürnbergMesse

paintistanbul is organized every two years by Bosad, the Turkish coatings and paint association. CNR Expo, the owner of the largest exhibition venue in Turkey, has been selected to manage this year’s event. Bosad can also rely on the support of two other partners: The publishing house Vincentz Network is helping organize the conference program, and the exhibition company NürnbergMesse is promoting international sales in Europe, South and East Asia, and North, Central, and South America.
"Vincentz Network is honored to support paintistanbul 2012, as we respect Bosad as the eminent and trusted forum of the industry − and the event as the rallying point of companies and professionals”, explains Juergen Nowak, Publisher at Vincentz Network. Also Richard Krowoza, Member of the NürnbergMesse Management Board, values the pioneering cooperation: "NürnbergMesse supports paintistanbul because we are convinced that this event will accurately reflect the important Turkish market for exhibitors, visitors and congress participants.”

Powerful partners for the international coatings community

paintistanbul is one pillar in the international collaboration of highly specialized and high-quality exhibitions and congresses for the worldwide coatings community. This cooperation supports the organizers of paintistanbul, European Coatings SHOW, American Coatings SHOW, and PAINTINDIA to work together to tap market synergies and provide a valuable global platform for exhibitors to gain a foothold in new markets.
A special booth at paintistanbul 2012 will inform visitors and exhibitors about this marketing alliance and the opportunities it offers exhibitors to reach the key coatings markets in Europe, North America, Eurasia, and India.

Economical growth in Turkey

According to a recent report on the Turkish paint industry published by the Export Promotion Center of Turkey (IGEME), the country remains a major hub for the paint and coatings industry in the Mediterranean area. And signs are good that it will prosper in the future: Turkey is the sixth largest paint producer in Europe. The sector accounts for a yearly market value of US$ two billion, which accounts for two percent of the world market. With its young and dynamic population of 75 million people, its geographic location at the crossroads between Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Asia – and therefore the potential to reach one billion consumers – Turkey occupies a remarkable position in the global paint marketplace.
"With its commercial and production power, the Turkish paint and raw materials industry is the strongest market in its region,” say the Co-Presidents.
