Coatings additives: Anti-cratering additive provides no foam stabilization

Monday, 25 November 2013

A new wetting and anti-cratering additive can be used as universal substrate wetting additive for waterborne wood coatings, industrial coatings and printing inks.

With "Tego Twin 4200” Evonik expands its range of wetting and anti-cratering additives for solventborne and even UV coatings.

Product supports paint manufacturing process

The product provides no foam stabilization and a robust and easier processing during the paint manufacturing. Enhanced reduction of surface tension and compatibility lead to a product, good for various coating systems, while the additive’s 100% active matter content allows for its use in modern zero VOC formulations.
