Heubach India receives ICC award for Responsible Care for the year 2016

The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) has presented the ICC Aditya Birla Award for Best Responsible Care Committed Company to Heubach Color Pvt. Ltd., an affiliate of the Heubach Group.

The celebratory event took place on September 29, 2017, at the Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Gateway of India in Mumbai.

six Responsible Care Codes

Heubach India practices the six Responsible Care Codes for many years now and is currently actively mentoring other companies who plan to implement Responsible Care. All plants of the company are set up to comply with ecological aspects and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Urea consumption reduced

Furthermore, Heubach has introduced an initiative known as the "Integrated Waste Management Program" (IWMP), which not only encourages waste management but also waste minimisation and the conversion of waste into useful products. An examples includes the reduction of the blue phthalocyanin plant's urea consumption by 31% through process modifications.

Social committment

At the social level, Heubach India provides exemplary financial support to the local hospital and has adopted a primary school. The company is a member of ETAD and Nicer Globe, an ICC initiative focusing on safe and secure transportation.
