According to the article, this is due of the maritime energy revolution: The German orderbook for natural gas powered vessels, including for the first time also governmental vessels, exceeds 10 billion Euro and is seen by the experts as probably the largest level of investment for clean shipping worldwide. Cruise liners, river cruise ships as well as governmental and naval boats belong to the German topsellers, whereas the ferry and RoRo sectors are rising.
