Metal paint market: Teknos and Oliva join forces in Poland

The new company Teknos-Oliva will have a turnover above EUR 20 milliion.

Teknos and Oliva plan to strengthen their presence in Poland by joining forces. Both companies have signed an agreement according to which Teknos and Oliva will merge together to be one of the leading players in the Polish metal paint market. The new Company will operate under Teknos-Oliva name and brand. We expect that the deal can be closed by the end of October. Oliva is a well-known brand in Poland among metal industry paints and yacht paints. The company’s office and paint factory with 90 employees are located in Gdynia. Production will continue at this site. The net sales of Oliva business are approx. EUR 8 million. The new company Teknos-Oliva will have a turnover above EUR 20 million. Teknos has been present in Poland for over 15 years by now with a sales company in Warsaw and a branch office in Lódz. Krzysztof Bruski, owner and CEO of Oliva Group, will continue to work for Teknos-Oliva as a member of the supervisory board and Managing Director of Teknos Poland. Piotr Niedziólka will hold the position of the managing director of the new Teknos-Oliva.
