With the new low-solvent acrylic resin products and the linear polyesters for packaging and coil coating industry Helios has entered the market for complex resins.

The new production facility is one of the key technology investments in recent years, costing about EUR 4 million. It was financed jointly by the EU and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. Helios has worked in the construction of the new facility with numerous academic institutions. Besides the production of lacquers and paints the Group, with headquarters in Southeastern Europe, generates a high proportion of their income with synthetic resins which are used as raw materials for paints and varnishes as well as for the production of different composites in the transportation, construction and plumbing industry.
