BCF adds weight to the Two Sides cause

At a recent board meeting, the British Coatings Federation (BCF) agreed to make a significant financial contribution to the Two Sides campaign in 2016.

Commenting on the decision the BCF Chief Executive Tom Bowtell said "I'm delighted that the BCF board supported the proposal from the BCF Printing Ink Council to make a significant financial contribution to the Two Sides campaign in 2016."

Excellent job

"Two Sides are doing an excellent job promoting the sustainability of printing, paper and ink, and challenging corporations that use false environmental claims to justify going paperless. Just as important, Two Sides promote the value-added print media can still bring to today’s marketing mix via the Print Power campaign. As the representative body of over 30 printing ink companies present in the UK, it is our duty to support the future sustainability of the print industry," Bowtell continued.

Great partner

Speaking on behalf of Two Sides, Jonathan Tame, UK Country Manager for Two Sides said "The BCF have been a great partner for Two Sides in the previous years and I am delighted they have formalised and increased their contribution to support our work. Printing inks are a crucial partner in the chain and together we will continue to help promote the future sustainability of our industry."
