The second production facility will enable Axalta to better respond to the increasing demand for metallic powder coatings, which are used specifically in architectural and design applications. Axalta's powder coatings product portfolio includes own collections as well as more than 150 currently available, off-the-shelf metallic powder coatings.

"We are excited to expand our production capabilities in Germany with state-of-the-art equipment that will continue to offer customers the highest quality products and increased capacity,” said Klaus Gast, Business Director for Powder Coatings business in Europe. "The new equipment will create greater efficiency, faster turns and the ability to produce small batches at short notice as needed. This gives us greater flexibility and offers even better outcomes and service for our customers.”
