Frédéric Jacquin, Global Market Manager for Specialty Business at Bluestar Silicones, expects the demand for silicones to grow in the coatings market. Developing its business, the company isincreasing its footprint in Europe and is even doubling its footprint in Asia. Although 2009 is a tough year, Jacquin remains optimistic that the silicones market could recover by 2010.

The Czech paint and coatings manufacturer Colorlak has focused on modernizing its production facility during the last two years.
