The Caparol Group (DAW) has opened a highly modern production and logistics centre in Malino, near Moscow/Russia. It centrally supplies all the regions of Russia. With the eight raw-material silos, which feed two production lines, 20,000 tonnes of powder products can be produced annually, initially in single-shift operation. Expansion in capacity is possible. The warehouse complex consists of a high-bay warehouse with over 3,500 pallet places for the company’s complete product range and a warehouse for block-type storage which provides a further 1,500 pallet places for plasters/renders, facade surfacers, adhesives and fillers produced in the factory. The amount of EUR 14 million is the largest foreign investment in the company’s history.
