European Association of Industrial Painting Contractors concluded a cooperation agreement

EAIPC/UEEPI represents, and takes actions to safeguard and to promote, the interests of (associations of) entrepreneurs and enterprises engaged in industrial painting and related fields at theinternational level.

On 1 September 2011 the employers’ organizations for industrial painting contractors in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands formalized their cooperation that started in 2010, by concluding a cooperation agreement. The name of the newly created international organization is: European Association of Industrial Painting Contractors / Union Européenne des Entreprises de Peinture Industrielle, abbreviated as EAIPC/UEEPI. National member organizations are: Verband Österreichischer Korrosionsschutzunternehmen (VÖK), Austria; Groupement d’Entreprises de Peintures Industrielles (GEPI) /Groepering van Industriële Schildersbedrijven (GIS), both Belgium; Groupement des Entrepreneurs de Peinture Industrielle (GEPI), France; Bundesverband Korrosionsschutz (BVK), Germany; Associazione Nazionale Imprese Applicazioni Rivestimenti Protettivi (ANIARP), Italy; Sectorvereniging Metaalconserveringsbedrijven (SVMB), Netherlands. EAIPC/UEEPI represents, and takes actions to safeguard and to promote, the interests of (associations of) entrepreneurs and enterprises engaged in industrial painting and related fields at the international level. The newly established organization elected Edwin J. Meeuwsen as their single point of contact for 2011 and 2012. The point of contact will provide the required secretarial support and will manage the finances of the organization during this period.
