Hi,
What is the minimum layerthickness for a ultrasonic thicknessmeter? I've seen some with a minimum of 8 micron, is there a better meter with a lower minimum?

Ultrasonic thickness meters normally indicate 8-10 microns minimum film thickness because of accuracy reasons. Measurements below 8-10 microns (when film thickness becomes comparable with the wavelength) are associated with unacceptably high deviations (inaccuracies), such as 10-15% and more.
