Dear Sir:
i want to develop a tin-free antifouling and I've read about a rosin terpolymer vehicle for this purpose. Can you please give me more information and some reference formulas?
Thanking in advance

Dear sir,
If this is the real orobleme you are facing, i think the better way to come over is to produce two kind of thiners one for hot weather using heavy conponents and anorther one made of light components-same fonctionality- for the coldest, the evaporating velocity must be rigourously the same in the two cases
good luck

Your thinners would be designed for specific purpose around the resin type e.g. automotive lacquer refinish, industrial fast/rapid dry enamels, etc. I think in most cases a slower solvent blend Retarder Thinner will help for cooler and humid climates to reduce Blush and loss of gloss. 2 sets of thinners are probably the answer, however first try a retarder additive to the blend to slow it down. Look at solvesso long tail high boil style solvents; but final application method and balance with the resin system will dictate success.

you will need several formulation classes:
by season (climate), by paint type, by evaporation rate
