We are a manufacturer of a transparent self-adhesive decorative textile that is glued onto windows. (WWW.SQUID.BE)

We are looking for a way to detect during production the glue distribution on our textile.
We would like to use a pigment that is not visible by the eye but only by the digital camera’s.

The pigment should be transparent and not change the look of the product in daylight conditions.

If the same pigment can also reflect part of the solar energy, that would be perfect. In this case an IR reflective pigment would be great.

In case this is not possible we would like to use an UV pigment but it CAN NOT change the visual aspect of the product. This means that the sunlight should not change/brighten our textile when you look from the outside.

Any suggestions where we need to start looking?

Cheers Johan from Belgium
