REGISTRATION

This webinar given by Stephan Spiegelhauer (Lanxess) will take place on 16 October 2019 from 15 - 16 h (CET).

About the webinar

Join us online when Stephan Spiegelhauer gives a presentation on: Tailor-made yellow iron oxide pigments. In addition to their purely coloring effect, Yellow Iron Oxide Pigments have a considerable influence on the coating formulations – depending on the manufacturing process being used. For example, the particle size and crystal lattice structure of the respective pigment types influence the level of pigmentation and thus also the viscosity development in highly concentrated color systems. Process control allows particles to be precisely synthesized – up to an almost spherical structure. During the webinar, the various manufacturing processes for yellow iron oxides and their specific influence on the pigment’s property profile will be introduced. On this basis, participants will learn how high-performance coatings systems can be optimized by a targeted selection of the best suited pigment type.
