Metal coatings - developments for a lasting future

Metal is widely used in many different products as they possess various physical attributes dependent on the materials composition. Both ferrous and non-ferrous metals can exhibit similar mechanical characteristics, however, each group requires different strategies to enhance the aesthetics and protect the metallic surface from degradation.

One for all
For the first time one congress combines all areas of metal coatings and provides a forum for the metal coatings community to discuss innovative solutions and approaches to overcome the technical and social challenges faced by the industry.

The European Coatings Metal Congress is the industry meeting place for the metal coating industry and provides the ideal opportunity for disseminating new technology, collaboration and networking. Meet the experts, speak with peers, find new partners - become a member of this new community.

Calling for your bright ideas
We want to promote discussion about a wide range of topics: organic or inorganic coatings, pre-treatment and high-performance clear coats as well as everything in between. Your contribution could be substrate focused, concerning raw materials for metal coatings or testing, measuring and application techniques. Powder or liquid, solvent or waterborne, additives or resins: all research from the industry as well as academic institutions is welcome.

We would invite speakers from innovative companies and research institutes to submit abstracts targeting areas such as (but not limited to): Cr-VI-free coatings, sustainability, circular economy, novel packing or high solids. Your contribution will shape the sessions!

Please submit your title and abstract until 30 April 2020.
(Firebird is used as submission tool. A one-time registration is required. You can edit your data at any time.)
