Abstract:

UV is by far the most common source of radiation-curing energy, and is widely used for coatings on heat-sensitive substrates. It has expanded significantly into a multiplicity of other applications, this expansion being driven by performance, economics and environmental considerations. However, EB technology can be more relevant in some high-speed and high-volume applications and can be expected to contribute substantially to the growth of radiation curing in the future.
