The Presenters
Thomas May
studied physics at the University of Bremen. Since 1984, he has been working in the department of Process Engineering at DuPont Performance Coatings as an officer for customer-related environmental protection. He also presides over the Specialist Committee of Environmental and Industrial Safety at the German Research Association for Surface Treatment (DFO).
Dr. Martina Ortelt
studied chemistry in Stuttgart. After gaining her doctorate, she spent several years in the coatings industry testing pigment and filler raw materials. In 1991, she transferred to what is now Evonik Degussa GmbH in Marl. She is responsible there for providing global technical support for diamines and specialty solvents in the Coatings & Colorants/Crosslinkers division.
