Anti-icing coatings: New blog entry

At the moment great parts of Europe are covered by snow and ice causing delays in traffic operations anywhere. Anti-icing coatings could prevent the build-up of ice on surfaces, e.g. on an aircraft. One pre-requisite for such functional coatings is superhydrophobicity. A lot of research has been undertaken in this respect.
