Rockwood Holdings to acquire Holliday Pigments

Rockwood Holdings, Inc., headquartered in New Jersey, USA, has reached an agreement with the British chemicals group Yule Catto & Co. plc to purchase Holliday Pigments, a manufacturer of technical grade ultramarine and manganese violet pigments. The purchase price is approximately EUR 46 million. Holliday Pigments manufactures inorganic ultramarine pigments for a wide range of applications, including coatings and inks. The transaction is expected to be completed during the third quarter 2008.
