Huntsman forms Chinese polyols joint venture

The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corporation has announced the creation of a new, China-based, joint venture with Jurong Ningwu Chemical Co. Ltd, to research, develop, manufacture and sell base polyether polyol products. The joint venture company will be known as Jurong New Ningwu Chemical Co. Ltd, and will be located in Jurong City and will be run as a standalone operation. Huntsman is a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals. Its operating companies manufacture products for a variety of global industries, including chemicals, plastics, automotive, aviation, textiles, footwear, paints and coatings, construction, technology, agriculture, health care, detergent, personal care, furniture, appliances and packaging.
