Helios opens new training and distribution centre in Slovakia

Helios has opened a training and distribution centre in Zilina/Slovakia to strengthen its position on the Slovak market of paints and varnishes. The company invested about EUR 4 million in its new facility that provides 1,000 square meters for customer trainings, a storage area of approximately 1,700 square meters and a sales centre for retail trade of about 500 square meters. The paint producer generated sales of EUR 4.5 million in the first ten months of 2009 in Slovakia and expects to grow above average in this region compared to other key markets.
