Bodo Möller Chemie and Benda-Lutz to cooperate
Distribution company Bodo Möller Chemie and Austrian pigment manufacturer Benda-Lutz have signed a cooperation sales contract. Under the agreement the distributor will market primary aluminum pigments of the Austrian company in Sweden, Denmark and Finland through its subsidiaries. The pigments are used in a wide range of products, from paints to plastics to printing inks. Furthermore, these pigments are elements in metallic automotive paints as well as a additive in light-weight concrete and plaster.

In our editor's blog smart coatings are a frequently recurring topic. We have described exciting functional coatings, we have asked how "smart" these coatings really are, and we have been wondering how smart coatings can be defined after all. I guess it's best to say smart coatings are structured coatings which provide additional benefits by giving an appropriate response to outside conditions.
